A "remanufactured" engine means that the unit has been fully disassembled, cleaned, and inspected, with all worn or defective components replaced with new or refurbished parts. Unlike a simple rebuild, our remanufacturing processes adhere to rigorous standards, making the engine comparable to a brand-new unit in terms of performance, reliability, and lifespan. At the core of our engine-building program, we are fully dedicated to upholding our reputation and delivering the best product possible.

For over a decade, we've been building these engines in-house for our local customers with a high success rate. Using only the highest-quality components and specialized machining and assembly techniques, our goal is to create top-notch engines that exceed expectations, offering a like-new performance backed by our meticulous attention to detail.

To guarantee the longevity of your engine, this long block features an assembled short block with a seasoned crankshaft, new pistons, rod bearings and main bearings, piston rings, seals and resized connecting rods, providing exceptional strength. To ensure perfect alignment, the engine case has been subjected to a Bore and Deck process, matching the pistons in the cylinders and mating surface of the cylinder heads to the case.

A torque plate is used during the honing process to further enhance the precision of the case. With the engine case expertly machined, you can rest assured knowing that every component fits seamlessly together.

The cylinder heads have been resurfaced, the lash adjustment has been set and a valve job has been done. Additionally, new valve guides and valve stems have been added for enhanced durability. The heads are installed with new head gaskets and seals, torqued to factory specifications, and meticulously inspected.

Warranty

M45 Automotive's warranty covers against defects in our workmanship and product for 24 months or 24,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the date of receipt.

Core Charge Policy

No up-front core charge is required. By making a purchase from us, you agree to deliver your core (old long block) within 30 days from the date of purchase. After the 30-day period, failure to return your core will result in the voiding of your warranty and a charge of $1,250.

We accept your core regardless of its condition, as long as it matches the required specifications and includes all the parts that originally came with it.
