These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RVJ Machine website and your purchase of products and services from RVJ Machine, operated by RVJ Machine LLC ("RVJ Machine," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use it to infringe the rights of others.
Product descriptions, fitment, and pricing are provided for convenience and may change without notice. Listed prices exclude option upcharges, applicable taxes, and shipping unless stated otherwise. Certain products (including remanufactured long blocks, short blocks, and other made-to-order builds) are reserved by paying a deposit at checkout; the deposit amount is shown on the product page and in your cart. The remaining balance is due before the item ships. When your build is complete and ready to ship, we send you a Stripe payment link or invoice for the balance and any freight; the order does not ship until the balance is paid.
Deposit refunds. Reservation deposits are refundable in full within 7 days of the order date, provided we have not yet begun machining or ordered parts specific to your build. Once machining or build-specific parts ordering has begun, the deposit is non-refundable, because the labor and parts committed to your order cannot be resold. Some products require the return of a rebuildable core (your original assembly) as part of the exchange. The core must be returned to us within 30 days of your receipt of the replacement. If a rebuildable core is not received within 30 days, the no-core price shown on the product listing (typically an additional $1,500) will be charged to the payment method on file, and the applicable warranty will be voided. Core credit is refunded to your original payment method within a reasonable time after we receive and inspect the returned core. Freight charges, where applicable, are quoted up front for both outbound and return shipping and are the customer's responsibility unless we state otherwise in writing.
Remanufactured long blocks and short blocks carry a limited warranty of 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the original date of delivery, against defects in workmanship and materials — provided the documented break-in procedure was followed and the vehicle was maintained per the manufacturer's specifications. This warranty covers parts only; labor, removal, reinstallation, towing, rental, and consequential expenses are not covered. The warranty is void if the failure results from tuning outside factory specifications, forced induction beyond the engine's design, missed maintenance, overheating, oil starvation, contaminated or improper fuel, accident, or other causes outside of RVJ Machine's control, or if a required core was not returned within 30 days. Warranty coverage on other products (parts, kits, apparel) is as described in the applicable product listing. Except as expressly stated, products and services are provided "as is."
Long blocks, short blocks, and cylinder heads ship via ground LTL freight; smaller parts, kits, and apparel ship via standard ground carrier. Freight for large items is quoted per order based on destination and dimensions and confirmed before shipment. Lead times vary by product and current shop workload; we confirm your estimated ship date after the deposit is received. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier unless otherwise agreed in writing. Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.
Because our engine products are built or remanufactured to order, we do not accept returns of finished goods for reasons other than a warranty claim. Cancellations are permitted within 7 days of the order date, subject to the deposit refund terms above, provided machining and build-specific parts ordering have not yet begun. Warranty claims must be initiated by contacting us at [email protected] before returning any product; unauthorized returns will not be accepted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RVJ Machine disclaims all warranties not expressly stated, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RVJ Machine will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising out of or related to your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold RVJ Machine harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the site or products.
The site and its content are owned by or licensed to RVJ Machine and are protected by applicable laws. You may not reproduce or use them without permission.
The site may link to or rely on third-party services (such as payment processing). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms, the site, or any product or service purchased from us will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Placer County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
